Dr. Kelly. director of AI for the province and of veterinary services for P.E.I.. congratu- lated the club for such a large turnout and for the. record of the unit for the year. He also answered many questions for the breeders and discussed some of their problems.

The annual statement of the organization showed that 1965 cows were bred by AI means. It also shows that the. club has 234 members. and three life members.

Edgar Dewar, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Dewar. Rose- neath. has recently graduated with honors in Chemical En- gineering from Nova Scotti. Technical College. Halifax.
During the past year Mr Dewar has been the recipient of a cyanamid of Canada schol- arship and was also awarded the Society of Chemical Indus try Award presented each year to the leading chemical engi- neering graduate.

Morell Creamery Gets Loan
Morell Cooperative Creamery has been granted a 15-year loan of $150,000 from the provincial government Minister
