Crash Causes Minor Injuries

Minor injuries were received when two cars carrying three people collided head-on in a nar- row cutting on Godfrey's Hill at Marshfield Thursday morning.

One vehicle, driven by Gerald Richard MclIsaac of St. Peter’s Bay, was travelling east, and the other car was driven by Jo seph Martin MacDougall, Trac- adie, proceeding west. Alphon- sus Dougan was a passenger in the MacDougall vehicle.

The RCMP said heavy drifting in the cuttings lowered visibility and made driving hazardous. Murphy's serviée station dis- patched two trucks to the scene which cleared the highway, re- lieving traffic tie-up.

He came to Winchester when he was eight years of age, and resided there for 70 years. He

was employed on the highway department of the town and served as a call fireman on the

Winchester Fire Department for over 40 years . Mr ‘Roberts was a member

of the Crawford Memoria! Me- , teodist Church, and had been a resident of Woburn for the past five years.

Surviving are his wife Jen- nie A. ‘Cudmore) Roberts, two |sons L. Stanley Jr. and Don-
