Under the general bead of Dyspepsia may be classed all the varieties of indigestion. Its symp- toms are so various, and differ so mucl in different individuals, that it is almost impossible to classify them. In fact, some of them are utterly indiserib- able. It may be safely asserted, however, that half of the diseases of mankind spring from a dis- ordered state of the stomach; and that the other half, whatever their origin, react upon that sensi
