Mr. Zinck’s suggestion led to development of/ a removable electric element, allowing the re- pair jot to be done aboard ship in a matter of minutes.

Mr. Zinck has been on the staff of the RCN’s electrical engineer- in-chief since 1949, which he com- pleted his apprenticeship at the Nova Scotia Technical College.
