French River. They were accom- panied by Miss Anne MacEachern who is one of the camp leaders this year. Rev. F. N. Young. Mrs. Young and their son. Donald. are also spending the week at the camp.

VISITING MINISTER TAKES SERVICE-On Sunday morning the service in Trinity United Church. Montague was conducted by Dr. J. J. Downing of Montreal. who is conducting service while Dr. A. D. Macxenzle is away on Regina on holidays. The theme of Dr. Downing's sermon was "Enter Thou Into The Joy of the l..ord:" he stressed the point that although we may be living as Christians. we cannot set in the fullest measure or get the most out of life unless we take Christ as our partner. "A Christian life," said Dr. Down- ing. "is not the easiest life. but it is full of unspeakable joy although sometimes the physical state is tormented." Those who may be interested in dramatic: will be glad to know that a trophy to be used to en- courage one act plays in King's County. is being donated by Mr. Carl Bochner. Montague. This in- formation was given to the Drama Association at their annual meet- ing held recently at P.W.C.. by the King's County vice president. Mrs. W. A. Bruce, Vaileyfieid.

Donations from the firms of HIICIKXV and Vanfderstine. Stewart and Bcckflf. L. MacGregor and Co.. and MacGowan Motors, were paid in to the- treasurer, Mrs. Smalimsn, and were much appre- elated.

Speaking on drama at-the Wo- men's Institute district convention. Upper Montague. Mrs. Brhce re- ferred to the helpful service of the P.E.l. libraries in sending out catalogues of plays. and also lend- init Plays to be read. Helpful cor- respondence with the provincial president. Mrs. Harold Laird, and the provincini secretary. Mrs. Ray M.1cLcod throughout the year was much appreciated. Mrs. Julian Herring and Mrs. Fred Gates. other executive members are also nlways willing to help in any way. Mrs. Bruce made many contacts throughout King's County during the year. and A number of nne act plays were presented although none were entered in the festival. Peter's Road Presbyterian Church was the scene of a pretty wcdciing yestetday afternoon. July 13th., at ii o'clock. when Phyllis Jiinc. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ln. Mac- Kinnon. Murray River. was united Keith. son of Mr. James Llewellyn, Murray Harbour North. The ceremony was pPr:formed by Rev. Charles D. Henderson. The church was beautifully decorated with summer flow:-rs and the guest pews were marked with bows of white ribbon.

To the strains of the wedding march played by Miss Peggy Beck. Montague, the bride entered the church on the arm nf her father.- by whom she was given in marri- age. She wore a. floor length gown of white satin with shoulder length veil and carried a bouquet of red roses. Her only ornament. was a pearl necklace the gift of the groom. The bridesmaid was Miss June Johnston, Summorside, who wore a floor length gown of white nylon over green taffeta with matching headdress and carried a nosegay of pink flowers. Miss Doris MacKinnon, sister of the bride. was maid of honor and floor length gown of white nylon over pink taffeta arisl carried -a nosegay of pink flowers.

Mr. William Miller. nephew of the groom. was best man and the ushers were Mr. Dan Murray. Montague, and Mr. Glen MacKin- mn, Murray River.
