We are sure that several of the fellows who merely posed as hockey playcrs last Saturday will come through with performances which will be a credit to them. SAINTS lost tvm games this season and their biggest humil- iation came at Ohatham where the Tommies drubbcd em 9-2. But Jack Kane and his boys must feel that they can will beat those Tommies once they g cm over here. After Dal- housie only lost 4-2 on the weekend at Ohatham and Saints beat D-al in Halifax 6-3

All we are wanting to see is the best effort the Saints can give. If they play to the best of their ability and then lose. then nobody should be the least bit critical. However, if they perform in a fashion similar to last Saturday they could well drop every remaining home game.

OUR congratulations to Roger Clair and his lltontfague rink on winning the provincial schoolboy curling championship and the right to represent this proiince at the Dom-inion champion- ships in Regina later this month.

The Montague boys went right through the two-day com- petition without a setback and they came home to Montague to a musing reception. The folks in this King's County town are extremely proud of their champions and well they might be. Now all Prince Edward Islanders will be siolitllv behind them as they head west to fight it out in the Dominion linais.

PRINCE Edward island women curlers are battling this week at Summerside Curling Club to name a provincial champ- ion to_go_ to Edmonton to the Dominion Einals.
