The regular meeting of the Montague Home and School Assoc- iation was held last night in the Montague High school with Mr. C. R. Boehner presiding, The sec.- retary. Mrs. Elsie Wntterworth, read the minutes of the last meet- ing which were approved as read.
The secretary was instructed to write letters of appreciation: Dr. Curtis for his kindness in speaking to the meeting held a few weeks ago. United Church for use of the A.D. MacKenzie hall. Charles Fra- ser for promoting the amateur cav- alcadc. and Mr. B. H. Yeo for the use of hall for the presentation of the cavnlcade. It was reported that the cavalcade was a complete suc- cess both financially and with re- gard to entertainment. It was also reported by the Commitee that Mr. Yeo donated to the association the cost of the hall. It was moved that the final payment on the projector be made in the near future.
It was suggested that the amal- eur concert might be held at a later date taking in only the students of

Mrs. Rodgouon was born of Fnnnlngbrook some fifty-eight years ago. and always lived there.
She leaves to mourn her pa - in. her husband: two sons. Mil- ton and Monti of Fanningbrook: two daughters. Della. Mu. Harry Crane. and Lillian. Mu. Frederick Clark. both of Mt. Stewart; and eighteen rnndchildron.
visiting at the home of her daughter Lillian. and passed away there after three weeks.
On February 20th. a very large and sympathetic crowd gathered at the home in Fanningbrook for the funeral service which was conducted by her putor. Wm. T. Mercer. The hymn: sung were: "Abide With Me." "Rock Of Ages." and "He Leadeih Me." A solo, "Will The Circle Be Unbroken." was beautifully rendered by Mrs. J. L. B. Anderson of Mt. Stewart. The funeral III: ngements were under the direction of the N. D. MacLean Funeral Home. The pail-bearer: were: Menu. Lemuel Jay. Renie Jay. Alfred Jay. Ward Jay, Wallace Woolridgo and El-ed Jay.
In the passing of Mrs. Rodger- son the people of Fanningbrook and vicinity lost a friend who was always ready to give help whenever it was needed.
