Patermo, March 29.—Signor Guiseppe de Felice, who, in May, 1894, was sen- tenced to 18 years imprisonment for con- nection with socialist riots in Palermo and elsewhere. and who was_ recently released under decree of amnesty issued by King Humbert, visited Catania to-day. He was amember of the chamber of deputies when sentenced. During his imprison- ment elections were held for members of the 19th, the present legislature, and he was returned from the second district of Catania. His entry into the city to-day was triumphal. Special trains were run from Messina and the city was full of vis- itors. <A large crowd gathered about the railway station, and De Felice’s app~ar- ance was gveeted with wild enthusiasm.

During the stay of imperial party in Venice, the king and queen of Roumania will join them.
