Mrs. Ada Green Buried Sunday
MONTAGUE — The death oc curred at her home on Thurs- day. Oct. 22 of Mrs. Ada Green of Montague in her 85th year Mrs. Green was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Parkman and was a life long resident of this town.
She was first married to Dr. AD Smith and together they operated the Royal Hotel which later became the old hospital on Main Street. Dr. Smith prede- ceased her in 1918 and later she
married Dr. C.B. Green who died in 1945. In her earlier years Mrs.
Green took an active interest in community affairs. She was I member of St. Andrew‘s Pres- byterian Church and for msnv years sang in the choir.
Mrs. Green is survived by her brother. Dr. Ernest Parkman Summerside. and two sisteri. Mrs. David Westhaven. Monta- gue. and Mrs. Mabel Fraser Montague.
The funeral was held from her home on Sunday Oct. 25 at
