As the citizens will now depend upon the Fire Department to take charge of fires, it is necessary that all who voluntarily become members of the.Corps should feel them-~ selves in duty bound to “run when the bell rings,’’ and to work under the direc- tion of their officers so long as anything remins to be saved.
