The Csthillc church at Iona was filled to capacity yesterday morn- ing to witness the impressive cere- mony pefformed by His Excellency Bishop Boyle of Charlottetown when he ordained to the priesthood, the Rev. Edmund Roche, a native of Iona parish.

Assisting His Excellency in the ceremony were the Rev. Dr. R. V. MzlcKenzie. rector of Si. Duns- tan's University. and the Rev. J. RE. 0'l-lanley, also of Si. Duns- tarrs. The sermon was preached by the Rev. J.A. Sullivan of the same institution.

Jmmediately following the or- dination, Father Roche gave his blessing to his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Roche, and he mem- bers of his immediate amlly.
