Keep the spine and spinal nerves cool, say the sdvocates Of the cow's and the wild man’s Wiy of sleeping. There are such advocates, among them able physicians. They affirm that turning upon their brenst to sleep will relieve backoche. Also, it will leave the nerve stimulan: fre? to flow vigorously from __ its centers and in that will remedy indiges- tion aod take away the bad taste in the mouth.

Many wili be surprised to find how difficult it is to lie with the tace down- wards, aiter years of reposing in the other attitude. One cannot do so com- fortably ten, minutes at first. But practice will overcome the difficulty. The natural method, so called, of sleer- ing, has many and ablo advocates re- cently.
