When we begin to take sides this purpose becomes buried in the turmoil and confusion that inevitably results..

avior and have all segments of our community put their cases out in the open so that we might assess the situation in an unbiased manner?
It might be useful, to all concerned, if a statement were issued by each segment of the university showing just where their loyalties lie; whether towards some common goal such as education, or for dynasty building and self enrichment. ” .

act as an apology to Bob O'Rourke
for the misinformation printed in the Cadre two editigns back, secondly to explain a little about the Student Evaluation Bob O'Rourke's in- terest doesn't lie in the form— ation of an anti—calendar.
This is a student interest. Professor O'Rourke will be involved in the Evaluation Com— mittee as far as finding in— terested Faculty members to
sit with students. The main objective for this committee will be to produce a success-
ful means of evaluating faculty
qualifications. Once again, our apologies to Bob O'Rourke for the misinterpretation of his intentions which was pub— lished in the Cadre.

Why are we sometimes afraid to express our in— dividuality,

Can we eliminate hypocrisy, , Is the solution in Christianity, Don't fake right, go left.
What do we do with our leisure time,
Why do we watch shows that revolve around crime, Where is the reason, where is the rhyme,

When are we going to take a stand,
When will we share with a fellow man,
What prevents us frOm forming a Christian land, Don't fake right, go left.

Is there a way where we neither fight nor shout, Is there a way to end this pagan drought,

By left I mean a program and movement which all
people who believe in love, freedom, and justice can adhere to. This poem seeks to point out that we have to get to the root of the problems which exist in university life and society as a whole
-so that the original aspirations that our foreé~ fathers had in mind may be carried out.
