KENSINGTON’ -— Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Burt opened their charming home at Kensington recently for a miscellaneous shower for Miss Enid Burt in honor of her approaching mar- riage. ' Mrs. Ann-ie Burt. mother of the bride-to-be. played “Here Comes the Bride", on the mouth organ as she was escorted by her sister. Mrs. Francis Dun- ning to the living room. Bou- quets of cut flowers in pink and white, in harmony with the chosen color scheme. decorated the living room where an arch of flowers, pink and white streamers and white wedding bells, marked the seat of honor.

The well filled baskets were carried in by Stephen Burt and Marlene Dunning. nephew and niece of the bride-elect.

The ribbons were cut by Mrs. Ellsworth Cameron and Mrs. Amy Holmes. Miss Mary Rog- ers and Mrs. Elmer Burt read the gifts cards and Miss Esther Paynter and Mrs. D.S. Dunning arranged the many lovely gifts on the table. -

Enid gracefully expressed her thanks. Step dancing by M Francis Dunning was much en- joyed during the evening.
