In a special bulletin- reviewing supply and demand for profes- sionally-trained persons. the Nfgs executive and professional division said Thursday the demand for un- iverslty-trained workers generally will remain in balance with supply for the next few years.

There were several notable ex-

ceptions. Jobs available in engin- eering, teaching, architecture. ge- ology and health and welfare work exceeded the available trained per- sonnel. The bulletin repeated its fore- cast made last year of a teacher shortage totalling 25,000 in 1955. In engineering, the btilletiii said the demand ”is definitely greater than the supply.

"It is also esliinnted that the demand for graduaes in engineer- ing will average at least 2,000 a year for some years yet.”

Arclhtects graduating in the next four years will be less than 100 each yiIIl'. The demand is ex- pecled to exceed the supply slight- ly for the next few years.
