Minister at Washington, by communication addressed to His Excellency from the State and Treasur Department of the United Stiites—thut when assurance is given t at American Vessels are admitted into all the Ports of Prince Edward Island, on the same footing as British Vessels, the Treasury Department of the United States will cheerfully and romptly issue the needful instruction to grant siniilnr privileges to esaelii from that Colony in all the Ports of the United States, agreeably to the authority granted by Congress in the law of Se tember 26, I850:
