Four general airways pilots were sworn in as special constables. each sccom by a heavily-armed sfficer. In the four planes the as men were to Ville Marie without mishap. The planes flew back and forth over the ac miles in s snow storm with the arrested per- sons, many of whcrn_had never been in a plane before.

Many of the men were greatly re- lieved when they stepped from the planes at Ville Marie despite the fact jail stared them in the face. Five men were placed 1n one plane at s time and guards awaited their prrival at Ville Marie to escort them NI Jail.
