'So people, those of you who along with me sped last summer in Bernadine and those who are planning on spending the summer there this year, doesn't all of this sound simply exciting. whoopeel You almost have to stop and wonder "Does not this University's Ad- ministration realize that a University is suppose to be a Community of which ' the students are the focal point." This University's capable officials and I use the word capable with a little caution, don't seem to giVe a damn about the students who go to U.P.E.I. All that they are concerned abeut is how much money can they make off the Residences and most certainly don't create any form of University spirit or Goodwill. .

Residence, on March 7. Mr. MacLean stated that food might possibly be allowed in the main kitchens of Berne- dina and Marian. He also stated that there might be

a chance that Dalton Hall could be used for male stu- dents who do not have a place to stay for the two weeks between sessions. He also offered assurances that stu- dents will net be second rate citizens to convention- eers in future years.

The U.P.E.I. Girl's Bas- ketball Team will be travel- ling to Acadia University this week-end, to compete in the A.W.I.A.A. Intermed- iate Basketball Championship.

Dur girls, the defending tetle—holders, will be striving to maintain their supremacy over Saint Thomas University, Mount St. Vin- cent and Nova Scotia Teacher's College.

Their toughest competi- tion should come from St. Thomas, but if the team plays as well as it is able to, they should repeat as champs.

The games are scheduled to take place on Friday and Saturday at the Athletic ;- Complex in wolfville.

Anyone who is in the area, or who is not able to see : the Hockey Chamionships in Halifax, would find their support well-appreciated at Acadia by our girl's team.
