Annual Party For Chidren

The annual Christmas party for children sponsored by 101 wing R. C.A.F. Association was held yester day afternoon at the Clover Club. More than 200 children and par- ents gave Santa Claus a hearty welcome when he arrived to dis- tribute treats and gifts. Following the presentation, appropriate films were shown. much to the delight of the children. The party was arranged under the direction of Jack Larabee, J.E. Farquharson, Reg Howard, N.N. Larabee and Stan Mclnnis, assisted by a com- mittee from the Ladie's Auxiliary unrler their president. Christmas Presentation At The Baptist Church

Itcome to the Manger", by Doro- thy L. Sumerau. a Christmas Story and Song Service with Scenes and Characters and 8 Congregational Candle-lighting Service was the Christmas presentation given by the Charlottetown United Baptist Church last evening. The Pastor. conducted the impressive service.

The very fine production was a prelude to the offering of White Gifts given by representatives of over thirty of the Church's nrga nizations.

In five brief scenes the story of the Nativity was portrayed: Mary and Joseph in Nazareth preparing for the Bethlehem Journey: Door- way of the Bethlehem Inn with Joseph and the Inn-keeper. The Inn-keeper was not uumlndful of King Davidls prayer "Lord. keep Thou guard over the Stranger": The Shepherd's in the Fields: At the Manager. Coming of the Wise Men. 4

This meaningful and beautiful scriptural drama was exceptional-

ly well enacted. The lighting ef-,
