W IPEG, Jan. 22 -—(CP)— Wheat futures moved narrowly in dull trading on the Winnipeg mar- ket Saturday as weakeness in securities was offsetby forecasts of a cold wave in the United Stats winter wheat belt.

At the close quotations were unchanged to 1-8 cent lower, with May at 62 3-8. July 68 and Oct.68 1-4 cents. No export sales of Canadian wheat were confirmed. Liverpool finished 1-4d lower to unchanged. Chicago futures traded within a narrow range arid closed practically unchanged while Buenoc Aires remained unchanged.

Cash wheat trade continued to centre on the low grades of feed sales were estimated around 250,000 bushels most of which was sold from stocks in Georgian Bay ports to Eastern lvfills.

Pit-trade in coarse grains was featureless.

Stocks registered a slaeable break in Saturday's trading on the Tor- onto exchange, reflecting foreign weakness on disturbing news from Germany. Industrial and base metal shares lost 1.40 and 1.59 respectively and the golds and western oils were down .94 and .43 in the indices. Volume was only fair at 402,000 shares.

National Steel Ca_r declined 1 3-8. Steel of Canada lost 1 1-2 and Dominion Foundries was down 1 1-4 in light action. Fract- ional declines were boarded by Canadian Car. Dominion Steel "B" and United Steel.

A few junior golds. including Auglte, Broulan and Naybob. traded actively at losses of 3 to '1 cents and the close was down 5
