The Hampton W. I. met at the home of Mrs. Edwin Ferguson for November meeting. The meeting opened with the repeating of the creed followed by roll call which was answered by fourteen members paying yeairly fee also two new members joined and one visitor was present.

The minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Mrs. W. Iilman volunteered to see about getting silver and Mrs. Clayton Morrison about'tables for hall. Mrs. Howard Myers thanked the Institute for a treat and a nice card of thqnks was received from Mrs. Boyd Mac- Quarrie acknowledging a sympathy card sent the family.

AIberhnPasliir Announces Plans to Resign In June

Rev. P. A. Fitzpatrick. pastor of Alberion. Cascumpcc and Tignish United Churches has announced his intention to leave this charge in June of next year. much to the rcgrct of his parishioners.

On Monday evening a repre- sentative gathering of the con- gregations met in Alberion. They paid tribute to the zeal and de- voi:on of the minister. and urged him to reconsider his decision. Rev. Mr. Fitzpatrick stated how- ever that after nearly three years of attempting to serve his charge by taxi, cars of friends, and walk- ing. he felt that to do ftili justice to the pastoral work they needed a man with an automobile on the job constantly.

Rev. Mr. Fitzpatrick has given special attention to the aged and sick. and his interest and counsel to the Young People's groups have been greatly valued. Recently I Couple's Club has been organized and all departments of the Church are flourishing. Neigh-boring com- munitics have also appreciated his assistance at special functions.

The retiring minister served Bcdeque at the time of Church Un- rion. and previously was minister of the Tigvon charge.
