Tbe acting of Miss Vesta Stewart, who appeared for the fires time, was to say the least, good. The speech by thechairman, Mr. McLean, was all that a loyal British subjectcould wish. The singing of God Save the Queen brought the performance toaclose. The pies were auctioned by Mesers. McLean and Theo. Robertson, the amount realized being in the vicinity of forty seven dollars. Ringing cheers were given, at the close for Roberts, Bual- ler and our brave boys in South Africa.

From June 10ib to Oct- ober 28 bh 654,267 Ibsof milk were manu factured into 62,367 lbs of cheese an average of 1048 \bs of milk to a pound of cheese. Averags price obtained for cheese 9.99 cents per pound. Average value of milk to patrous per 100 lbs, 77 cents. Milk manufactured into butter from October 28:h to the end of the year 86,671 lbs. 466 Ibs of butter to 100 Ibs of milk. Average value of milk to patrons 81 centa per 109 lbs.

“Six patrons furnished over twenty thousand pounds of milk durimg the sea- son; the largest amount by Wm. Mes Kenzie, Bay Fortune, 31,551 lbs. Five of these furnished 123,695 lbs from 46 cows atan average Vaiue of $20.36 per cow.
