Friends of Mrs. Harry Dunsford South Melville are sorry to hear she has gone to the P. E. I. Hos- pital and wish her a quick return to health. '

Mr. Clayton Morrison was rush- ed to the P. E. I. Hospital late Sat- urday night. He was operated on immediately when he arrived and is now doing as well aa can be ea- pected. l-lis many friend: wish him a speedy recovery.

The funeral of the te Charlie lnce was held on Se urday. Dec. 4th. A short service was held at the home then the remain: were forwarded to Hampton United Church where service was held. A large crowd gathered to pay re- spect to one who hed been a resi- dent of this community all his life. The service was conducted by Mr. T. G. Lemuel J. MacNelll 285 Central Ave, N. Y., died unexpectedly Oct. 17 aboard the Grace Liner Santa Monica en route to his home from South America. He had been on a three week vacation cruise.

Mr. MacNeiIl was president cl the L. J. MacNeill Contracting Corporation, 11 Williams St, white Plains and 0d 51 East 42nd Street. New York City. The ccmpany has had otfice in White Plains for the past 20 years.

Ho will be greatly missed in his church where he was a member since his early boy hood and a faithful servant in all the activit- ies connected with it. His funeral service was conducted by his pas- tor who spcike comforting ucrds to the bereaved. He was a. member of hhe Building Trades I-knployers‘ Association of N.Y. City. He was also affiliated with the White Plains Lodge 535 B.P.O.E. and with the Mt. Sinai Lodge of Odd Fellows in Boston.

Born January 3rd, 1869 at Quincy Mass, he was the only son of the late Hector and Rebeccs. Macken- ale MaclNeill, Hopefield. PEI. l-Ic came to the Island when a little boy with his parents, returning at at the age of sixteen to the land of his birth where he remained till his sudden passing.

Neill was a. man highly esteemed by his many friends as was evidence by the many flowers, telegrams, let- tiers of sympathy received by the family after his passing. The fol- lowing tribute from the Building Trades Employers Association speaks for itself.

The sudden passing on Oct. 11. 1.948 of our colleague, Lemuel .1. MacNeiil came as a shook and with a sense of personal loss as well as with s feeling of profound sorrow. Since his affiliation with this or- ganization s. score of years ago, he has been a staunch and active member. serving on various com- mittees, one time treasurer and currently on the board of governors, he contributed much to the pro- gress of the Association andindus- try. His amiable disposition amt high attributes of character won for him the respect and admirat- ion ad all who came to know him. In his demise we have 10st s. loyal friend. the building industry s. con- tractor guided by the best ethical standards and his family a loving and considerate husband and father.
