Mm. Lloyd lockerby was host- ess to the regular meeting of Hamilton W.I. which was held Sept. 6 with thirteen members and two visitors present. The presid- ent conducted the meeting which opened with the ode followed by the creed.

The school committee had no report. The school teacher re- quested that the Institute pur- chase some books on English for the school and a motion to this effect was carried.

The sick committee reported two boxes sent, .and a member who was leaving for Scotland was re- membered with a gift. Bills were presented and on motion paid.

Correspondence included a let- ter from the Director stating that Miss Boswell would open a sewing club if! the fall. Mrs. Elmer Phil- lipe has kindly consented to in- struct. the class. Canvassers were named to collect for the Salvation Army.

The school teacher was asked to inquire as to how many would take advantage of the splendid of- fer the Red Cross offers in supply- ing fish oil capsules.

It was moved and seconded that we send the organ to Charlotte- town to have it repaired. It was suggested that we ask the help of the hall committee in arranging transportation of the organ.

Mrs. Jas. M. Ramsay invited the member! to her home for the next meeting where roll call will be answered with a cent for every inch of the waist size.

The meeting opened with the singing oi the Institute Ode. followed by the Club Women's

Creed, in version. Roll cell was answered by s pickle recipe and acme interesting methods were discussed.

The school txauimittee then gave e report o1 hltvim visited the aehooLSince the school needs clean- ing, and painting plans were discuss- ed. and it was decided to have the interior of the school painted dur- ing fell vacation. if possible.

The minutes of the previous meet- ing were reed and approved. Corresponden was then read. It was decided to have the school children oan/vass the district in eid of the Salvation Anny.
