and their power to_ enforce their fines or penalties. The Student Council is going to approach the Senate and request that fines that are not paid should be added to a V student's account at the Business Office and that marks be withheld until these fines are paid.

This would mean that a v studentwould not

graduate until he paid his fine. If a student dis— agrees with the fine levied by the S.D.C. he can appeal

There will be entertain- ment in the Panther lounge every Tuesday night in the future. This will be local talent and there may be a minimal cover charge. A deal is being worked out with Moosehead Breweries where they will purchase a stereo system for the Panther lounge.

Gerald McKenna gave a report on Fall Fest events as well as 'the prqgosed Fall Fest 78 should show a small profit and be similar to Fall Fests of the past. The only noticeable differences are that most events°will/be held in the Barn rather than the

'lhe UPEI Drama Society is heading into its second year on campus. Chairman ‘ of the club, Jennifer Tweddle, presented her budget and plans for the 78-79 year. The budget will not be voted on until the next Council meeting but some of the planned events include: another Music and Drama night, Winter Carnival Campus Cabaret, Poetry

play, and working with Prof. Pratt on a major production.

The last topic on the Agenda was the Book Exchange. The two people who ran the September Exchange will not be available to run the one next January.
