Mr. Hannington, ot New Brunswick, and Mrs. Hannirgton ; Artemas Lord, Agent Marine and Fi-her- ies Department, and Mrs.Lord ; Hon. Wiliam Campbell, Hon. Donald Ferguson, Mr, Foley, of H. M,. Customs, and Mrs. Foley, Mrs. A. J. Macdonald, Brewon, Mrs. Caven, Juhn Tugs, Eeq., Hon. David Leird and Mises Laird, Henry Longworth, E-q., High Sheriff of Queen’s County; A. The Exhibition was marked by much the same charscteristics as thav of King’s: County, the great difference being the weather, which was very disagreeable. The competition was not so keen as in former years; but the articles and animals exhibited were choice. It was rather sur- prising to see such fine potatees,—remem-

The splendid cart stal- lion, lately imported by McRae and Rob- bins, and Mr. Lea’s superb young carriage stallion were both greatly admired. Mares and foals formed a large class, and in the! filly’s classes there was keen competition. Three or four magnificent bulls were shown, but en the whole, the show of cattle was rather below the mark. Mr. Holman’s | Jerseys received a great deal of attention. Of sheep and pigs there was avery fair exhibit, thongh there was a lack of pure | bred anima!s.
