A miscellaneous shower was hcld' at the home of Mr. and Reg- inald Palmer in honour of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ford, who were the re- cipients of many lovely and useful gifts. The gifts were opened by Miss Enid Smith and placed by Miss Merrill Palmer, while the accompanying verses were read by Miss Marlon Hardy. Many games were enjoyed by all and a very pleasant evening was spent by all present.

The March meeting of the W0- man's Auxiliary of St. Peter's Church was held on Monday even- ing, March 12th. at the home of Mrs. Reginald Palmer. Eight mem- bers were present at this meeting, which opened by singing "Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross", followed by the W. A. prayer and scripture reading. The members decided to send a box to a needy family. Re- ports on the annual meetings in Charlottetown were given by Mrs. George Tuplin and Mrs. Robert Palmer. Further study of the year's study book was made. Lunch was served by the hostess and the collection amounted to about 34.
