Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Kennedy and daughter Sandra of Halifax. The nooosaity for greatly in- creased attendance at future blood donor clinics was the sub- Ject of much discussion at a special meeting of the Charlottetown members of the Provincial Blood Donor Committee held at Red Cross Headquarters on Friday of- ternoon. The command-lng officers of the different branches of the Reserve Army met with this com- mtttee to make plans for a clinic to be held at the Aimouriea Charlottetown on the occasion of the next visit of the Mobile Red Cross Blood Donor Team to the Province during the iveolt of No- vember 29th.

Hon. Paul Martin, Minister of National Health announced yester- day that his Department has re- quested the Canadian Red Cross Society to undertake the collection of blood for the prooassing of gamma. globulin. This is in addi- tion to the Societyls present, com. mitment to supply whole blood for 9lV1113n h0UPil-813 and bloo pro- ducts for emergency stock- lling purposes.
