The Kensingiton Town Council, in a resolution passed last night at its regular monthly meeting, decided to fence the town dump and lock it. Under supervision, it will be open to town residents on Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 6. No dumping of potatoes or car bodies will be permitted. A dump supervisor will be appointed.

The resolution was moved by Councillor Bruce Mnch and seconded by Councillor W. S. MacLean. ,

P'Ieads Guilty In Breaking, Entering Case

Pleading guilty to a charge of breaking and entering with intent to commit an indictable offense. a resident of Summerslde was re- manded until today for sentence when he appeared before Magis- trate R.S, Hinton in Summerside Police Court yesterday morning.

On a second offense intoxica- tion charge, an offender was fined $50 and costs, while on a similar charge for his first offense, a me- ond man was fined $20 and costs.

A plea of not guilty was entered by a man charged with having liquor in his possession not pure chased at a vendor.

Dr. John Hammond Palmer, 82, born in Bedeque, P.E.I., head of the Royal Victoria Hospital car- diology department at Montreal and one of the founders of the Na- tional Heart Foundation of Com ada, died Saturday.

An associate professor of medi- cine at McGlll University, he was also chief consultant in cardi- ology for the Montreal district of the Veteran’s Affairs Department.

Dr. Palmer was educated in Gagetown, N.B., and Mount Alli- son University. As at McGill medi- cal student during the First World War, he went overseas with the Canadian General Hospital Unit, later becoming surgeon_ proba- tioner to the Royal Canadian Nav- al Reserve. .

During the Second World War he
