CROWDS were just starting to come in the last couple of games with the Penguins. Surely now that the finals have ar- rived The Sports Arena will be crowded Thursday and the same thing should happen in Civic Stadium Fmday night.

These teams play a mighty good game of hockey and. they deserve much greater fan support than they are receivmg. Crowds are swarming in at both Halifax and Moncton and Steve MacDonald reports that the fans are packing the rinks at_Glace Bay and Sydney. We can do t e same here. Now 115 the time show the rest of the Maritimes that we are still interested in our own brand of hockey.

Let's get this series off on the right foot. Give the teams bumper houses at The Sports Arena Thursday and Civic Stad- ium Friday. If the folks show up in good numbers for these two battles. the rest of the series will take care of itself.
