Basketball Tourney Rife With Action

Liam McKenna Sports Editor Huge crowds turned out on Saturday to witness day two of the Mickey Place tournament at UPEI, and they were certainly not disap- pointed. A preseason tripleheader featured a UPEI Men team eager to prove their worth against Maine after a disappointing loss on Friday night, and the women looking to cream Acadia to kick things off on Saturday morning.

UPEI Women Take AUS Championships

Congratulations to the UPEI Lady Panthers who won the AUS Championship match on Sunday against the Dalhousie Tigers. UPEI shut out the Tigers 2-0 in the Championship game.
