Small con- tingents have started from Scotland, Yorkshire, South Wales, South West England, LBIIOBShlIc, Nottingham- shire and Derbyshire and are plod- ding on an average of eighteen miles daily towards the capital. The nation- ai unemployment workers committee which was organized by unemployed groups, has issued a call to all work- ers to march with bands and ban- ners to Trafalgar Square to demon- strate their solidity with the men who are tramping to London and to demand "the right to live."

Besides his brother and sister, he leaves to mourn his loving wife and four daughters, Mrs. Deagle, Boston; Mrs. McPhee, Boston; Mrs. McInnls, Selkirk; Annie at home, and four sons, Allan, Selkirk; James of the C. N. 11.; William at home, and also Joseph at home.

The high esteem n. which the late Mr. McKinnon was held, was shown by the large funeral ooitege which accomp nied the remains to the Church at St. Charles, on the morn- ing of December 28th. The hearse was driven by Mr. James E. Mclnnis, and the pallbearers were: Eleston McPhee, Wilfred McPhee, A. J. Mc- Adam, Daniel E. McDonald. Peter J. McDonald and James Carter.

A high mass of ‘requiem was cele- brated by Rsv. Louis P. Callaghan. after which the mortal remains were tenderly laid away in the nearby vlllmhilard, there to await the day of glorious resurrection promised to the Just. May his soul rest in peace.
