Young People's Union Have Many Activities

Recent and current activities of the Trinity Young People's Union at Montague have been varied and interesting. Following up a decision to put on a 3 act comedy play. the cast and various com- mittees have been selected and are progressing well in the many details.

The regular Sunday evening seivice of worship was conducted' by 'he yresiden . Elmer MacLean, with addresses on the tour di- visions of Y.P.U. given by Lead- ers Robert Adams. Pauline Moase. Mary MacLure, and Arthur Math- esoii. This marked the conclusion of Christian Youth Week. The union also joined in the joint pro- Rram of fellowship. and shared some of the leadership in the town Wldt Bathering on Monday night at the Presbyterian Hall. and also in the first of a series of Saturday night meetings held In the Civic Auditorium.

In addition to the local activities, there are always joint endeavours with Presbytery and conference. Siimmerslde will be host to the next executive meeting of Presby- Iery on March 7. when all the various unioas' offices will be pre- sent. The Souris Company is sending Mr. Gallant to Europel to gain some knowledge of the more ad- vanced European methods of pro- cessing fish. Mr. Gallant will visit Germany. Holland. France and England. At the end of his tour. he will go to Vienna. Austria. where he hopes to obtain return Passage on a Maritime Central Airways plane. carrying Hungar- ian refugees to Canada.
