All potato growers and operators of potato machinery are reminded of the amendment to the "Plant Disease Eradication Act" which has refer- ence to the disinfecting of potato machinery and the registering annually of operators of such machines.

All farmers. or others. who operate Potato Planters. Set Cutters. and other equipment used in the handling of potatoes on more than their own farms. must apply immediately to the va- Inclal Department of Agriculture. Box 2000. Char- lottetown, for a license and enclose the license fee of fifty cents (50c). When application for a lie- ense is received a reCord book will be forwarded to the operator and the receipt of the record hook will be evidence that the operator has registered. Operabors of custom machines should contact the Seed Potato Inspector in their respective areas. or the Prince Edward Island Department of Agriculture. for instructions in the proper method of disinfecting their machines.
