Borden and Charlottetown were thrown into a successful search for an R.O.A.!'. panel tnick stolen from in front of the C.N.R. station in summer- side last evening. The chase ended in the Churchill area near Bon- shaw with the recovery of the truck and the apprehension of those responsible for its theft. The truck is said to have been damaged and the theft is reported to have been committed by a Summerside resident. -S.

Summerside Aces Hold Meeting

-The Summerside Aces held their first meeting of the season at the Town Hall last night with Thane Baglole. last year's manager in the chair. Thane. pleading pres :of business. announced that he i would not be available for manager this year. but the assembled play- ers persuaded him to take on the job again, and promised that a competent helper would be secured to look after sticks and other lit- tle details connected with a team.

Layton Schurman was not able to attend because of illness, but he was re-appointed to coach the team again this year.

It was decided to try to have a representative from the club attend the meeting of the M.A.H.A. to be held some time in the near future. After a discussion about player prospects for the season. the meet- 'ing adjourned. and another meet- ing was called for the evening of November 30.
