In the close of his lecture on Ingersoll, Mr. George R Wendling says effectively :

The following is the reply which Prince Bismarck returned to an address tele- graphed to him by the Association of Ger- man students after the announcement of the result of eicctiona : “ I thank you most heartily tor your telegram.
