And whereas the said Acts have been laid before Her Majesty in Council, together with a letter to the Lord Presi- dent of the Council, from the Right Honorable Edward Cardwell, one of Her Majesty’s principal Secretaries of State, rccomn'iending that the said Acts should be left to their operation: Her Majesty was thereupon this-day pleased, by , and with the advice_ol Her Privy Council, to approve the i said recommendation \Vhereof the Governor, Lieutenant (lovcrnor, or Commandcr-in-Chief for the time being of Her Majesty's Island of Prince Edward, and all other persons whom it mav concern, are to take notice and govern them-

25th day of APRIL next, at 12 o'clock, noon, from any person or persons being willing to contract for the Ferry at CARDIGAN RIVER, for three years, from the 7th day of June next, in terms of the Act 3, Will. 4, cap. 8.

The Tender must express the rates of Ferriage demanded for Passengers, Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Calves, and Swine; also for Vehicles, Luggage, per cwt.. and Produce per bushel.

The names of two respectable persons, willing to become bound for the performance of the service, must accompany the Tender.

EPARATE SEALED TENDERS will be received at this Ofiice until Tuesday, the 4th day of April next, at l2 o’clock, noon , oti'ering to supply the Government with pure PALE SEAL OIL, drawn from the catch of this present year, 1865, the same to be subjected to test for approval of quality, and to be contained in sound, tight iron~bound, hardwood casks, and delivered, at the cost of the contractor, in the following quantities, at the under- named Light Houses, on or before the 1st day of July next en- suing, Viz:— At Point Prim Light House, 2:30 gallons, At Panmure Island Light House, 250 do

At Cascumpec Light House, 80 do At Blockhouse Light House, 50 do At Fish Island Light House,

Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Calves, Swine, Grain, Flour, Meal and Vegetables, over and across GRAND RIVER FERRY, Lot 56, for a period of THREE YEARS, in terms of the Act 3d Will. 4th, cap. 8, for licensing and regulating Ferries.

The Tenders must express the rate of Ferriage on the above, severally—Luggage, Fleur, Meal, at per cwt., and Grain and Vegetables at per bushel—and give the names of two Securities willing to become bound for the performance of the service.

The Tenders must express the rates at which the Tenderer pro- poses to carry each of the above named, over and acress the Ferry tendered for.
