Mrs. M. N. MacGowan was host. can to the Kilmuir Women's In. stitute for their annual meeting on Friday evening. The president conducted the meeting which opened by singing the Institute Ode. followed by the Collect in unison. Roll call was responded to by nine-members, and three new members paying feel.

Nine visitors were present. The minutes of the last annual and the last regular meetings were read and approved. The sick com- mittee reported several calls. and one treat was given. The secre- tary-treasurer's report showed I successful year with a financial balance of s79.04 on hand.

Members told of seeing the Queen Mary carpet on display in Charlottetown. A souvenir book- let was shown to ilhose who had not seen it.

On motion of Mrs. E. Farquhar- son, the following officers were unanimously re-elected: President, Mrs. P. W. MacDonald; vice-pres- ident. Mrs. W. E. Macxenna; sec- retary-freasurer.
