Not one but two pubs in one week! Thursday, October 29th and Saturday, Oct 31st the Panther Lounge will be having two separate Halloween Pubs. On Thursday the Barn will have its annual Wet/Dry Halloween Main Event. Great prizes, including cash!!, will be given away for best cos- tumes. As this probably is one of the year’s highlights at the Barn we’ ll have to have an advance sale of tickets. These tickets will be available at the Barn. Come down to the Student Union office between 9:00am and 4:00pm and our wonderful Betty will be pleased to sell you your tickets. Plans are for the Lounge to stay open till 2:00am so your night will be even more of a blast. Music will be provided by Three Piece Suit.

On Saturday, October 31, the Vet College will be having a Halloween Pub, with both floors of the Barn going strong. Our next two Movie Pubs promise to be standing room only. This week (Oct 23) we will be showing Thunderheart and BASIC INSTINCT!! We’re sure almost everyone has seen

On Friday, Oct 30, we will be showing Ernest Scared Stupid (perfect for Halloween) and Batman Returns, only two days after it comes out on video. Watch Danny DeVito and Michelle Pfeiffer put on a superb performance as the Pen- guin and Cat Woman. This Friday there will be a fan bus leaving the Barn at 6:45 pm which will take all students down to the Civic Centre for the hockey game between UPEI and arch rival Dalhousie. All those students who return on the bus back to the Barn will be rewarded (!!!) for their fan support. Great specials after the game too!

November is shaping up very well. Scared Weird Little Guys (a comedy team from Australia) will be playing on the 12th, the Business Society is planning on having its pub on the 19th and Bob Lambert (our most popular act) will be here on the 26th. :
