It is easier to ask these ques- tions than to answer them; but it is necessary that they should be asked, and kept in mind. Travel through space has a relation to man’s destiny here on earth, and to find the key to this problem is the real challenge that the space age pre- sents. It will not be found at Cape Canaveral, where the concern is only with standards of propulsion.
