SNOW' TROUBLES LINEMEN- About 25 dmfuent private tele- phone circuits were temporarily out of commission through the City yesterday, due to heavy |now< fall during Tuesday night and on Wednesday, it was reported from the Island Telephone Company last night. Maintenance crews were out during yesterday making necessary repairs and the major» ity of the circuits were back to normal late in the day. but crews were continuing on last night to clear up the balance of the trouble. No reports of trouble were received from the rural- districts.

Murray, Clyde River. re- ceived a telegram on Tuesday after. noon, January 6th. that her aunt, Miss Isabella MacKenzie of Way- land, Mass, had passed away that morning. Miss MacKcnnIe was the last surviving member of a family of seven. Her eldest sister Mrs. Jane MacDonald, Bresdalbane. passed away last June, at the age o1 96.
