Warer.occep.—A Georgetown despatch of the 12th says: “Captain Spain, at Georgetown, P EI, reports seeing the derelect barque Rodente, of Faime, Austria, about half way between Magdalen Islands and East Point, P EI, timber loaded and waterlogged. The ship’s crew had probably landed at Magdalen Islands. The schooner Maggie May, Ellis, of Chezzetcook, had the ship in tow and put some of his crew aboard, set part of the ship’s sails, and was making for Port Hawkesbury, where she will probably reach on Saturday.”

Gorep BY a Buit.—Sussex Record: On Monday while Mr. William Adair, of Mill- steam, was letting his bull out of the stable, the animal suddenly made an at- tack on him and gored him badly, breaking three ribs, a splinter piercing the lung. Tue Bic Fire.— tunis is the twenty- ninth anniversary of the “hig fire” in Charlottetown. The fire started on the morning of Sunday, July 15th, 1866, in ar unoccupied house on the corner of Pownal and King Streets, and before it was ex- tinguished about four blocks of buildings in the business portion of the city wee destroyed.
