Insolvent Debtor, held on the Twenty-fourth day of May last, after argument, it was ordered, that, as the Schedules of the said Insolvent Debtor were insuflicient. he have leave to amend the same; and that. upon the schedules, as amended, being filed. a meeting of the said Creditors shall hereafter be called; and whereas, the said Schedules. as amended. are now on file in the Re- cords of this Honorable Court. I do order that a meeting of the said creditors be held on Tuesday. the Twenty- first day of September next, at the Court House, in Charlottetown, in the said Island, at Eleven o’clock, a. 1n., of the same day. for the purposes of the said meet- ing first above mentioned; and that this order be pub- lished in the Regal Gazette newspaper for three months from the date hereof.

EALED Tenders will be received by the Subscriber. at the General Post. Ollice, Charlottetown, until Tuesday. the Slst day of August, inst, at the hour of .12 o’clock. noon. from persons willing to contract for the conveyance of the Mails of this Island twice or three times in each Week (at the option of the Postmaster General of this Island) during the Winter Season. for the ensuing three years, between Cape Tormentine and Cape 'I‘i‘avcrse.

The person contracting to be at all times provided with at least three suitable and safe lee Boats. and crews of {our men to cross each trip. upon such days as may be appointed. if the same be practicable. The outward Mail to be received at the Post. ()Ilice in the Settlement of Cape Traverse, and delivered at Cape anll'lentine; and those coming to the Island to be re- ceived at Cape 'l‘orinci‘itinc and delivered in Charlotte— town at the Post Olllce. One pound, currency. per trip. will be allowed the contractor for the carriage of Mails to Cape Traverse from the Post Ollice. Charlotte- town. and the contractor to be at all times in readineSS to convey such Mails when required.

Tenders will also be received, at the some time, and for the same. period, from persons willing to convey Mails twice or three times in each week (at the option of the Postmaster General of this Island) between Capo Tormentinc and Amherst. The person tendering, to agree to have a courier at Amherst. to leave there with the Mails for this Island, upon such days as may he di- rected, and to attend to the instructions he may receive from time to time, through the Postmaster at Amherst; and the contractor also to he prepared to attend at Cape Tormcntine to aid the Ice Couriers on their ar- rival aud departure with the Mails. The Mails to be delivered at Amherst within eight hours after receiving them at Cape Tormentine, and also to deliver Mails within eight hours at Cape 'I‘ormcntiue alter receiving them at Amherst.

The Government will not be bound to accept the lowest tender.

Sullicient Security will he. required. and the names of two responsible persons. as suretics, must be given in each tender.

' IIEREAS, a Commission has been issued, directed . to us, under and by virtue of an Act passed in the Reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria. intituled "An Act to regulate the laying out and alterin" of Highways.” and of the Acts in amendment theiifeof whereby we are commanded to enquire what damanre or advantage will accrue to those persons who are intdjrcst- ed in the land through which a certain new Road is in- tended to be made, commencing at Mr. J. McC(,n'inack‘s East line. and terminating at Cardigan River. near: New Bridge. and which road will run through or over: Now, we do hereby give l’ublic Notice to All parties that we will commence the execution of said Ccn‘imission' by attending at Cardigan Bridge, on Mondav. the 20th day of September next, at the hour of 1 o‘clbck, in the afternoon of the some day; and from thence We will proceed along the said new line of road, and complete the‘inqucst according to law.
