The St. Dunstan’s and Prince of Wales hockey teams hare met again. And the Princes are the victors. The rink last night resounded with both of the college cries, thatof P. W. C., being particularly in evidence. The students of Prince of Wales, especially the young ladies went fairly wild with delight after each succes- sive goal made by their champions, while those of St. Dunstan’s were decidedly “down in the mouth” and their stock fell below par almost as soon as_ play commenced and kept on descending unt! the end of the game, except fora smal! jomp which it took, wken St. Dunstan made their one and only goal. To say that the game was rough would but express it mildly. It was one continuation of sticks being broken, players sprawling oo the ice, the referee trying !o keep out of the road, and little side fights goi goa b~ tween some or other of the furwards. The puck was bullied shortly after eight by Adams avd Sullivan avd it was not long before Piekard secured the first goal for the Princes. After scme brisk play on both sides, Sehaefer from cover point got a good lift and sent the puck flying through the opposite goal posts. Before balf time was called Pickard, who was playing a splendid game, scored again: After half time Redmoud seemed to think that it was his turn to do some scoring and he shot the remaining four goals for the Prinees, G. Roy making the single one for the St Dunstans. Alihough ueither L. Miller or Adams eccred at ail, the runs of the former and thesteady,play of the latter

helped considerably. But the St. Dunsians although defeated by six points need not despair. They have in

them the making of a much better tesm thaa played last night. with the exception of their cover point who seemed to be en- tirely outof place. He could neicher “block” or “lift,” the two principal duties of c.p. Their back is, “nearly as good as Bethune.” Point played a good game, and the forwards al! made good individual rushes but did not work together enough. ‘They want to learn, first of all to mas- age their skates better, to follow close Gpon the puck, and to stop slashing. We hope to see these teams meet again, aud think, thet it the Saints practice well together in the meantime, the result will be a littie lees cme sided.
