Fein Erectrio Compaxy.—The annual meeting of the Full Electric Company was held yesterday afternoon, Mr. Dickieson who managed the esffairs of the company so well during the year, was unacimously re-lected manager.

Gaso.ene Expioston.—An explosion occurred at Summerside last eveniag, which, fortunately, was not attended by fatal conequences. The explosion eccurred in Compion’s factory op Central atreet. A gasolene tank used in connection with an enamelling oven ex- ploded, blowing out the front window and throwing Mr Frank Compton, who was working by the window, across the street. A young man named Green, who was passing the window at the time, was | knocked down by the explosion, aud bad one of his bande cut. The building was set on fire by the explosion but the flames were extinguished before they had made any headway. Mr. Compton’s hands and neck were injured by the explosion, but his injuries are not looked upon as serious.

night. The attendance was large. The reports of tbe differents committees for the past year showed the
