BOARD OF EDUCATION.

Extract of minutes of the Board of Education at their monthly meeting, held on the 27th July, 1805, viz:—

HE BOARD having rccoived information that several Teachers holding Licenses from this Board, and in the receipt of Sala- ries from the public funds, have absented themselves from their Schools and attended and taken part in the meetings of certain associations denounced as unlawful, in the Proclamation of His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, dated the 22nd day of March last. The Board orders public notice to be given that every Teacher so offending in future shall be struck off the roll of Licensed Teachers, and payment of his salary stopped forthwith. By order of the Board,
