.. An interesting feature of ag- ricultural debates has been the emergence of Hon. Paul Martin as.the Liberal Party’s spokesman on the subject. Mr. Martin, a ‘lawyer, comes from the City of Windsor—one of thie most high- ly industrial areas of Canada— and he seems to be a surprising choice as an expert on farm pro- blems. Of course, Mr. Martin is a very, able man, and always conducts himself with ability in the House of Commons. His par- ty is now in a position, too, where it has no member representing
