MacLELLAN
A feeling of grief and_sad- mess was cast upon Grand River on January 6th, 1962,
when the death occured at his home of Joseph D. MacLellan in his 86th year,
One of the oldest and revered residents of Grand River, where he spent a lifetime, his unex- pected death came as a great Shock to his family and friends as he had been in apparent
good health, but as he became | &
less active the past few years, | he was confined more to his home,
He was born on January 16, 1876. the son of the late Joseph MacLellan and Ann MacKin- non, and was the last and youngest surviving member & family of 10 children,

1952. From then it had become his two-fold duty, that of father and mother —- a grave respon-
sibility he so well fullfilled, and assuredly is receiving his Eter- nal reward.
