PRESIDENT:

Brandon and the Executive appoint Exec VP Jeff Grandy to the Student Loan Appeal Board

Formal meetings are going to be held with Student Council Executives from various schools in the Atlantic Provinces.

VP FINANCE:

Has been involved with the hiring board that is ongoing

has been meeting with the Cadre Board of Directors and the Wave Management committee

EXEC VP:

AIDS PEI Cut-a-thon will be held Dec 1 in the Courtyard of the Student Centre from 12pm - 7pm - hairstylists will be cutting hair at a good price for a good cause.

Currently working towards - implementing SafeWalk here on campus. The program will be vol- unteer based. If you are interested in helping email safewalk_upei@hotmail.com

Dance Club will be held every Friday night at the Wave and there will be live entertainment every Saturday

Members of the school of nursing met to organize a society naming Brianne Timpson as acting President.

SENATE

Reports were presented on nominations and research ethics.

The Senate reported that 3900 students were attending the University of Prince Edward Island this academic semester.

BOARD OF GOVERNORS

Cost over runs in the com- pletion of the CARI project has postponed the completion of the pool portion until the spring of 2004. The university has taken responsibility to cover the cost of these over runs.

Committees were struck to create a capital projects develop- ment plan. A campus master plan had been proposed. This commit- tee will include two students appointed by council and will | develop long term planning for the future development of the UPEI campus.
