birds, whales, and other fortuitous sightings. The expenses would be shared through a pre-set fee with any surpluses refunded. Estimated costs are $150 each for the transportation, ferry, and bOat charter costs. Accommodations must be arranged and paid for by the individuals themselves and participants would select the.Sights to be visited through consensus. .Seating is limited and some of the activities are weather dependent so participants are asked to come with good spirits and an open .mind. Participants must sign a legal release as this function is being organized by the Society. Contact Barbara Currie at 892-9297 by August '12 so dates can be finalized. Caution: their is a strong possibility that coffee-shops and sticky bun stores will be on the itinerary! ’

Sept. 13 - The Society will host a barbecue pot-luck picnic from 2 - 6 p.m. at the P.E.I. National Park's Dalvay Shelter. Please bring dishes, cups, cutlery, and, if you wish one, a lawn chair. Nature walks will be held‘ to fit the desires of those attending. The rain date is September 20th.
